MINOT, N.D. -- Khari Broadway collected 21 points, but the Minot State men's basketball team fell to the Sioux Falls Cougars 66-63 at the MSU Dome on Friday in NSIC action.
Broadway added nine rebounds to his 21 point game to lead the Beavers (7-6 overall, 4-5 NSIC). Connor Hollenbeck helped out with eight points and two steals, and Jaxon Gunville chipped in with 13 points and two steals coming off the bench.
Minot State grabbed 35 rebounds in Friday's game compared to Sioux Falls' 34, led by Broadway's nine boards. The Beavers also cleaned up the offensive glass, turning 15 rebounds into 11 second-chance points.

Minot State relied on its three-point shooting in the period, knocking down six shots to account for 18 of its 30 points.
Minot State kept its lead intact before going on a 7-0 run, finished off by Gunville's layup, to grow the lead to 41-32 with 14:41 to go in the contest. Sioux Falls then asserted control, outscoring the Beavers 34-22 the rest of the way to hand Minot State the 66-63 loss.
