Minot State volleyball entering final road series

MINOT, N.D. – The home stretch is here for Minot State volleyball. After falling 3-0 to both Wayne State College and Sioux Falls, the Beavers return to the hardwood to continue their longest road trip of the conference season. This weekend, Minot State will be making stops in Mankato and St. Cloud to take on the Mavericks and No. 9 ranked Huskies. First serve against MSU-Mankato will take place on Friday at 6:00 p.m., with another Saturday matinee to follow at 2:00 p.m. versus St. Cloud State.

The Beavers have already faced off with both teams earlier this season, dating back towards the middle of September for the home opener. Minot State fell in a 3-0 duel with the Huskies on 2023 Homecoming weekend. It was St. Cloud State's 16th victory against the Beavers in their matchup history. The match versus Mankato back on September 30 was also not kind to Minot State, with the Beavers dropping another 3-0 contest at home. It was the 14th Mavericks victory over Minot State in their all-time series.

Minot State hopes to gain some momentum before heading into the final weekend of action at home. After they wrap up the road portion of the schedule versus Mankato and St. Cloud, the Beavers will be back at the Dome for two more matches including Senior Night. Minot State volleyball will honor Emily Kotelnikoff, Tea Boeckel, and Jenna Pahlen for all their contributions to the program. The Beavers will welcome Bemidji and Minnesota-Crookston for those final two home matches to put a cap on the regular season.
