MINOT, N.D. – After falling to 6
th-ranked St. Cloud and 7
th-ranked Minnesota Duluth during Homecoming weekend, Minot State volleyball is back in action searching for their first conference victory. The Beavers have an opportunity to capitalize when they head on the road this weekend. A date with University of Minnesota Crookston on Friday night to kick things off. Following their matchup with the Golden Eagles, they will turn their attention to the "battle of the Beavers" when they face off with Bemidji State on Saturday.
The Beavers have found success with Crookston in the past, having won their most recent match 3-1 inside the MSU Dome. Despite that, the Golden Eagles have 14 wins in their matchup history. Rounding out the quick 2-game road trip, Minot State looks to avoid a 5-match losing streak to Bemidji after falling to them 3-0 in their previous contest. For matchup history, the Beavers of Bemidji occupy 10 wins in 17 matches versus the Beavers of Minot.
Conference play continues for Minot State as they go on a road trip to Minnesota. Next weekend, the Beavers hope to have another tally or two in the win column when they return home to host Southwest Minnesota State and Minnesota State University-Mankato.
