MINOT, N.D. - The Minot State volleyball team hits the road this weekend to take on two NSIC opponents. The Beavers are heading out to Wayne, Nebraska to take on #8 ranked Wayne State College on Friday September 27 at 6:00 pm. Following the match against Wayne State, the Beavers will head to Sioux Falls, South Dakota to take on the University of Sioux Falls on Saturday September 28 at 2:00 pm.
Minot State is coming off their first conference home match-ups of the year which saw them go 0-2. The Beavers were matched-up against two tough opponents in #7 ranked Southwest Minnesota State University and Augustana University. Minot state is 0-2 in NSIC play to start the season, so they will be looking to bounce back this weekend.
Historically, Wayne State College has been a very formidable opponent, while Sioux Falls always provides a competitive match-up. Wayne State College is currently ranked #8 and holds 14 wins over the Beavers in their match-up history. The most recent match-up between these two teams resulted in a 3-0 victory for Wayne State College back on October 27, 2023.
