MINOT, ND --The Minot State volleyball team lost to the Northern State Wolves in straight sets (20-25, 17-25, 20-25) Saturday at home at MSU Dome.
The loss dropped Minot State's record to 3-17 overall and 1-10 in NSIC action.
Katelyn Onespot-Danforth finished with eight kills on the day to lead the Beavers attack. Defensively, had two players reach double figures in digs as Maya Vibeto had 13 and Jaina Macaulay had 12.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Beavers found themselves in an early hole, losing the first set 25-20. Minot State trailed by as many as six points as Northern State grabbed the advantage for good at 7-6 in a set that was knotted up three times before the Wolves took control.
SET 2 | A 25-17 set-two loss put Minot State in a 2-0 hole in the match. The Beavers fell behind on the first point and never clawed back into the lead before dropping the set.
SET 3 | Northern State finished off the sweep with a set-three victory. The Beavers fell behind on the first point and fought from behind the rest of the way before falling in the set 25-20.
