MINOT, N.D. – Minot State's Vice President for Student Affairs and Intercollegiate Athletics, Kevin Harmon, announced today that the Beaver volleyball program will move in a new direction and that the contract for current head coach Alex Courtney will not be renewed.

"We are grateful for Coach Courtney's contributions to our volleyball program and her dedication to our student-athletes during her time at Minot State," Harmon said. "We wish her the very best in her future endeavors."

Minot State Athletics will begin a national search this week for the next Beaver volleyball head coach.

"Our focus is to identify a leader who will foster a competitive and positive environment, support the academic and personal growth of our student-athletes, and represent Minot State with integrity," Harmon said.
