MOORHEAD, MN --The Minot State volleyball team lost to the Minnesota State-Moorhead Dragons in straight sets (21-25, 18-25, 16-25) Tuesday on the road at Alex Nemzek Fieldhouse.
The non-conference loss moved Minot State to 3-23 on the season.
Caton Pearcy finished with six kills on the day to lead the Beavers attack. Â 20 digs from Haley Saunders to lead them defensively.

SET 1 | The Beavers fell behind early, losing the first set 25-21. Minnesota State-Moorhead grabbed the advantage for good at 15-14 in a set that was tied up five times before the Dragons took over in the second half of the stanza.
SET 2 | A 25-18 set-two loss put Minot State in a 2-0 hole in the match. The Beavers fell behind on the first point and fought from behind the rest of the way before dropping the set.
SET 3 | Minnesota State-Moorhead finished off the sweep with a set-three win. The Beavers fell behind on the first point and never took the lead before losing the set 25-16.
