Minot State volleyball returns home this weekend for a pair of NSIC match ups at the MSU Dome. The Beavers open the weekend on Friday, November 7th, hosting the Wayne State Wildcats at 6 p.m. for Family Day, celebrating the families who support Minot State student-athletes throughout the year. Then on Saturday, November 8th, Minot State welcomes the Augustana Vikings for another NSIC contest, with the first serve set for 12 p.m. Saturday's match will also serve as Senior Day, honoring the contributions and leadership of the Beaver seniors-
Paulina Kowalska, Jaina Macaulay, and Mia Thompson- in their final home appearance at the MSU Dome.
The Wildcats are currently 22-3 overall, 15-1 in conference. Statistically, the Wildcats average 14.1 kills per set, 12.6 assists per set, and 16.8 digs per set.
Channatee Robles leads the team in kills, averaging 3.39 kills per set.
Molly Romano dictates the offense, with 10.87 assists each set.
Defensively, Anna Borner leads in digs maintaining 3.79 per set.
The Vikings are currently 12-12 overall, 6-10 in conference. Statistically, the Vikings maintain 12.7 kills per set, 11.9 assists per set, and 14.6 digs per set.
Maya Wente leads the team in kills, maintaining 3.10 per set.
Kiylah Franke averages 9.34 assists per set.
Gabby Jones is the defensive leader with 2.66 digs per set.
Looking at the Beaver's seniors, they will be great contributors for this weekends matches.
