WINONA, MN -- Caleb Van De Griend scored 30 points, but the Minot State men's basketball team fell to the Winona State Warriors 83-58 on the road Saturday.
Van De Griend added 10 rebounds to his 30-point game to lead the Beavers (21-8, 12-8 NSIC). Sam West helped out with 12 points and Ayouba Berthe chipped in with 7 points.
The Minot State offense took many shots from beyond the arc, knocking down 8 threes on 30 attempts. West was the most prolific shooter for the Beavers, draining 3 treys in the contest.
