MINOT, N.D- Softball will be concluding conference play this weekend by hosting St. Cloud State University on Saturday and the University of Minnesota- Duluth on Sunday. On Sunday, the Beavers are in for an emotional day as they will be honoring the team's six seniors who all dedicated their collegiate careers to Minot State University.

The team will be honoring an impactful group of athletes.
Sophie Sparrow is an outfielder and psychology major out of Mercer, North Dakota.
Abby Lohse, a corporate fitness and wellness management major, is an outfielder from Ham Lake, Minnesota.
Hannah Murray, a dedicated Chemistry major, is a third baseman out of Red Deer, Alberta.
Abbey Kelley, a nursing major out of Peoria, Arizona, is the team's consistent second baseman.
Reegan Floyd, a corporate fitness and wellness management major from Susanville, California, has spent her career as a pitcher for the Beavers.
Jasmine Blizzard, who is studying psychology, joined the Beavers as a transfer, and continued her career as a dedicated pitcher.

The senior day tribute will be hosted following Sunday's games against the Bulldogs. After completion of the tribute to the seniors, the team will be hosting an autograph party.

The Beavers are currently 15-9 in conference and 27-20 overall. The team is heading into the weekend of games ranked 6
th in the NSIC.

St. Cloud State University is currently ranked 4
th in the NSIC, with a conference record of 16-7. The last time the Beavers took on the Huskies, the Beavers fell 14-13, and then came back and won in game two 6-2.
Hannah Murray put together three hits and secured four RBI in game one and
Abby Lohse got the Beavers on the board in game two with an RBI double.

The University of Minnesota- Duluth is ranked 5
th in conference, with a record of 14-8 in conference play. The last time the Beavers met with the Bulldogs was in the 2024 NSIC Tournament, where the Bulldogs came out on top in the 2-0 game.
Hannah Murray led the team at the plate by going 2-for-2 with a double.

The Beavers will be taking on the Huskies on Saturday at noon. The doubleheader against the Huskies is set to take place in the Minot State Air-Supported Dome. On Sunday, the Beavers will host the Bulldogs outside at the SCHEELS South Hill Softball Complex. The first pitch is set to be thrown at noon. Upon completion of the doubleheader, the senior day tribute will take place, which will be followed by an autograph party.
