SMITHVILLE, Mo. – Minot State Women's Golf capped off the NSIC Championship with a strong final round, firing a 25-over 313 on Sunday to move up into 6th place with a three-day total of 115-over 979.
Taylor Cormier led the Beavers on the final day, shooting a 3-over 75 to jump 13 places on the leaderboard and finish 27th overall with a total score of 29-over 245.
Lauryn Keller continued her strong play, carding a 4-over 76 in the final round to move up to 7th place individually with a total of 18-over 234.
Holly Knudsen also made a big move, climbing 11 spots into 24th place after matching Keller's 4-over 76. Knudsen finished with a three-day total of 27-over 243.
Zoe Banack finished 45th after shooting a 14-over 86 on Sunday, posting a total score of 43-over 259, while
Abigail Goettle placed 54th with a three-day total of 61-over 277 after shooting 23-over 95 in the final round.
Minnesota State captured the team title with a 57-over 921, while the Mavericks' Emerson Garlie earned individual medalist honors with a 2-over 218.
