MINOT, N.D. – With the final conference champions crowned for the 2024-25 academic year last weekend, the NSIC released its final 2024-25 All-Sports standings today and Minot State Beaver Athletics finished 13
th in the NSIC.
The Beavers racked up 77.5 points throughout the year in the All-Sports standings.
The Minot State men's athletic programs finished 13
th with 26 points, as well, and the Beaver women's athletic teams also finished 13
th with 51.5 points.
The NSIC All-Sports standings are based on points awarded to each school for its finish in an NSIC-sponsored sport. The winner of each title in a conference-sponsored championship sport receives points totaling the number of teams in that sport, plus one. The next-place finisher receives points equal to the number of teams less the number of places from first place. Ties in the standings at any level result in the totaling of points and equal distribution.
Minot State sponsors 16 NSIC sports: Football, women's soccer, volleyball, men's cross country, women's cross country, men's golf, women's golf, men's wrestling, men's basketball, women's basketball, men's indoor track & field, women's indoor track & field, softball, baseball, men's outdoor track & field, and women's outdoor track & field.
The NSIC also offers women's swimming & diving and tennis, two sports that Minot State does not offer.
NSIC Champions in each sport during the 2024-25 academic year were: Augustana for men's and women's cross country, football, women's swimming & diving, softball, and tennis; Minnesota State, Mankato for women's soccer, baseball, women's golf, and men's and women's indoor and outdoor track & field; St. Cloud State for volleyball and men's wrestling; Concordia, St. Paul for men's and women's basketball, and men's golf; and Southwest Minnesota State as co-champions for men's basketball.
Minnesota State, Mankato swept the NSIC All-Sports Championships as the Mavericks won the overall title with 203 points. Augustana was second with 183 points. The Minnesota State, Mankato men won the men's All-Sports title with 81 points, with Augustana second with 73.5 points, and the Maverick women won the women's All-Sports title with 122 points, with Augustana second with 109.5 points.
