MINOT, ND --The Minot State volleyball team lost to the Concordia-Saint Paul Golden Bears in three sets (13-25, 20-25, 16-25) Friday at home at MSU Dome.
The loss dropped Minot State's record to 1-11 overall and 0-4 in NSIC play.
Caton Pearcy finished with six kills and 6 digs to lead the Beavers. Â

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Beavers fell behind early, losing a tough first set 25-13. Minot State trailed by as many as 12 points as Concordia-Saint Paul never surrendered the lead in a set that was tied up just once before the Golden Bears took control.
SET 2 | A 25-20 set-two loss put Minot State in a 2-0 hole in the match. The Beavers fell behind on the first point and never clawed back into the lead before dropping the set.
SET 3 | Minot State was not able to win set three and was swept by Concordia-Saint Paul. The Beavers fell in a tough set 25-16. Minot State trailed by as many as nine points as Concordia-Saint Paul grabbed the advantage for good at 6-5 in a set that was knotted up four times before the Golden Bears took over the lead.
