Beavers finish Alaska trip with loss to Alaska Anchorage

ANCHORAGE, AK --The Minot State volleyball team fell to the Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves in straight sets (12-25, 12-25, 16-25) Saturday on the road at Alaska Airlines Center.

The non-conference loss moved Minot State to 0-4 on the season.

Emily Willis finished with six kills on the day to lead the Beavers offense.  Caton Pearcy with 11 digs to lead them defensively.

SET 3 | Alaska-Anchorage finished off the sweep with a set-three victory. The Beavers fell in a tough set 25-16. Minot State trailed by as many as nine points as Alaska-Anchorage grabbed the advantage for good at 11-10 in a set that was tied up nine times before the Seawolves took over the lead.
