MINOT, ND --The Minot State men's basketball team kept Saint Cloud State to just 35.1 percent shooting from the field, but fell 71-57 to the Huskies at home Friday.
The Beavers (8-7, 5-4) had two players score in double figures, led by Deuce Benjamin, who had 16 points and four steals. Darik Dissette added 15 points and Lovasoa Andriatsarafara added six points and seven rebounds.
The Minot State defense held Saint Cloud State shooters to only 35.1 percent from the field, including 25.9 percent from three-point range. The Beavers also kept Luke Winkel to 3-of-14 shooting in the game.
