MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State men's hockey team retained the top spot in the latest ACHA Division I national poll, while the Beaver women continued to climb, moving up one spot this week to No. 3 in the ACHA Division I women's national poll.
The Minot State men (22-1-1-1 overall) play at No. 7 Jamestown tonight, then host No. 9 Calvin on Friday and Saturday at the Maysa Arena to wrap up the regular season. All three games are scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
The Beavers remained the top team in the nation after a mid-week sweep of in-state rival and No. 11-ranked Mary on Tuesday and Wednesday, last week. Minot State is a perfect 8-0 for the 2026 calendar year.
The top 5 in the men's poll remained unchanged with Minot State No. 1, followed by No. 2 Ohio, No. 3 Niagara (N.Y.), No. 4 UNLV, and No. 5 Drury (Mo.).
The Minot State women (13-6-7), who had last week off, moved up one spot to No. 3 and sit behind No. 1-ranked Liberty (Va.) and No. 2 Midland (Neb.). McKendree (Ill.) is No. 4, and Maryville (Mo.) is No. 5.
The Beavers close out their regular season at home this weekend, hosting Minnesota on Friday and Saturday, with puck-drop scheduled for 3:45 p.m. both days.
