MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State softball team will be home this weekend, albeit visitor on the scoreboard, as the Beavers' NSIC doubleheaders against Bemidji State and Minnesota Duluth have been relocated because of severe winter weather.
"The Battle of the Beavers," originally scheduled to be played in Bemidji, Minnesota, on Friday, now will take place Friday, April 3, in the MSU Bubble on the Minot State campus, with first pitch slated for 10 a.m.
An early start, as "The Bubble" also will play host to the University of Mary taking on Minnesota Duluth in an NSIC doubleheader scheduled for 2 p.m. on Friday.
Saturday, April 4, all four teams return to the diamond inside "The Bubble" with Minot State playing Minnesota Duluth, with the Beavers again being the away team on the scoreboard for the NSIC doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for 10 a.m.
Following the morning twinbill, Mary will take on Bemidji State in their NSIC doubleheader, starting at 2 p.m., once again inside the MSU Bubble.
