LAWTON, OK --The Minot State volleyball team jumped ahead 1-0, but couldn't hold on and fell in four sets (25-23, 20-25, 21-25, 17-25) to the Quincy Hawks Friday at Aggie Gymnasium.
The non-conference loss moved Minot State to 1-4 on the season.
The Beavers were led by a double-double from Caton Pearcy, who registered 12 kills and 11 digs on the day. Kiera Hayes also added eight kills to help the attack. On the defensive end, Maya Vibeto chipped in for with 16 digs to go with four blocks from Jasmin Bell.

LAWTON, OK --The No. Minot State volleyball team fought back from a 2-0 deficit to secure a comeback five-set victory (17-25, 23-25, 25-21, 25-15, 15-11) over the No. Cameron Aggies Friday on the road at Aggie Gymnasium.
The out-of-conference victory improved the Beavers' overall record to 2-4 on the season.
Katelyn Onespot-Danforth finished with 14 kills on the day to lead the Beavers attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .333. Defensively, had two players reach double figures in digs as Maya Vibeto had 24 and Caton Pearcy had 14.
