2013: Played in all 11 games for Minot State as a senior... Recorded 40 tackles on the defensive line, including 2.5 for a loss... Honored as an NSIC All-Conference honorable mention defensive lineman

2012: Played in all 11 games for Minot State as a junior... Made 32 tackles on the defensive line, including three for a loss... Had a career-high six tackles (five for a loss) against Northern State (10/6)... Earned All-NSIC Honorable Mention honors.

2011: Played in 10 games for Minot State at defensive line... Recorded 30 tackles, including 4.5 for a loss... Had 2 solo tackles and 2 assisted, 1.5 tackles for a loss against Montana State (9/17).

2010: Played in all 10 games for the Beavers at defensive line... Recorded 26 tackles and  .5 sacks... Finished with 22 assisted tackles on the season, including four against Dickinson State (10/30)... Had .5 sacks against South Dakota Mines and .5 tackles for a loss at the DAC Bowl (11/7).

2009: Redshirted.

High School: Attended Bottineau High School, participating in football, track and field, hockey and American Legion Baseball... Named to the first team Class AA All-State team on defense and second team on offense... Member of Team North Dakota in the 2009 Mon-Dak Football Series.

Personal: Son of Kelly and Jim Artz... Family member Pat Artz played at Minot State... Majoring in Business Management.
