For his performance for the men's indoor track and field team at the UMary Holiday Festival, junior thrower Logan Krueger has been named one of two Minot State Athletes of the Week.

Earlier last week, Krueger was listed as an Preseason NSIC Athlete to Watch by the conference and proved that recognition true last weekend by setting Minot State's Division II era record in the shot put.

Logan's best throw was 14.05m, or 46' 1.25", and was good enough for third in the event. Krueger was a major component in the Beavers' fourth-place team finish.

This is the first time Krueger has been named Minot State Athlete of the week.
