Boag's 37 points lift Beavers over Cougars

The junior also collected 14 rebounds in the win

Box Score SIOUX FALLS, S.D.- Carly Boag (Jr., Forward, Tamworth, Australia) had another clutch performance Friday night totaling 37 points and 14 rebounds in 35 minutes of play.

That performance, along with a solid effort from the rest of the Lady Beavers carried them to a 75-70 victory over University of Sioux Falls (11-10 overall 8-9 NSIC)  Friday Night.

Boag had a stellar night shooting the ball not only from the field (13-22) but also from the free throw line. She hit 11 of 12 free throws to help seal the road win for Minot State (10-11 overall 6-11 NSIC).

Three other Beavers hit double digit scoring along with Boag. Sacarra Molina (Sr., Guard, Hinsdale, Mont.) had 12 points, Morgan Klose (So., Guard, Fairview, N.D.) had 11 points (including two 3-pointers) and Francesca DeAngelis (Sr., Guard, Laguna Niguel, Calif.) chipped in with 10 points.

Minot State won despite committing 21 turnovers. Although they didn't take care of the ball, the Beavers used their 50-29 rebounding advantage (16 offensive rebounds) to get more shots and more makes.

MISU will now travel to Marshall, Minn. to face the Southwest Minnesota State University Mustangs Saturday night at the R/A Facility. Game time is set for 5 p.m.
