MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State women's basketball team will open its 2026-27 season with a special trip to the Caribbean.
The Beavers head to San Juan, Puerto Rico, to play a pair of games against local college opponents for the 2026 Puerto Rico College Sports Tour on Friday and Saturday, November 13 and 14.
"I couldn't be more excited to open the season in Puerto Rico," Minot State head coach
Ryan Clark said. "It's a beautiful place to start the season off at; it will be a great opportunity for our team to come together early, build chemistry, compete, and most importantly, make incredible memories!"
Times and opponents for the weekend have not been set yet.

The Minot State men's basketball team recently made a similar early-season trip to Puerto Rico during the 2024-25 season, playing three games in the Caribbean during November of that season.
The special weekend in the Caribbean will be the season opener for the Beavers, who return to Minot and make their home debut Wednesday at the MSU Dome when they host Mayville State.
