NEW TOWN, N.D. – The Minot State women's basketball team posted a 62-41 victory over Dickinson State in an exhibition game at 4 Bears Casino & Lodge in New Town, N.D. on Wednesday night.
Junior
Madison Wald led the Beavers with 16 points while
Mariah Payne chipped in 10 points.
Kari Clements and
Gabby Wilkinson added eight and six points, respectively.
Minot State shot 39.7 percent from the floor for the game and 61.5 percent from the free throw line. The Beavers also owned a 46-39 rebounding advantage.
The Beavers will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 3 p.m. when they travel to Regina, Saskatchewan to face University of Regina in an exhibition game.
