MINOT, N.D. -- The Minot State football team will wrap up the home portion of the 2017 schedule on Saturday (Nov. 4) as it hosts Minnesota State Moorhead in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference game scheduled for a 1 p.m. kickoff at Herb Parker Stadium.
Saturday will also mark Senior Day for the Beavers as

Minot State, which enters the game with a 2-7 record overall, has plenty to play for in the final two weeks of the season. The Beavers are 2-3 in the NSIC North with an opportunity to finish with a winning record in divisional play and Saturday will be the last chance to post a home victory this season.
The Beavers are coming off of a 42-35 road win at Minnesota Crookston last week in which Overstreet scored on a 7-yard run with 18 seconds to play in the fourth quarter to secure the victory. The touchdown capped a 7-play, 54-yard march that chewed up 3:25 on the clock.
Overstreet finished with 111 yards rushing and a touchdown, which marked the second time this season he has eclipsed the 100-yard barrier.
Senior quarterback
Zac Cunha had his best game of the 2017 season as he was 20-of-27 for 171 yards and threw three touchdown passes. He also rushed for 14 yards and a touchdown. His three touchdown passes moved his career total to 51 and he is just two touchdown passes shy of tying the school record of 53 currently held by Kenny Smith.
Lavante Bushnell caught a season-high seven passes in the victory over Minnesota Crookston, while Maloney and Watkins each had three receptions. Bushnell, Watkins and Fila all had touchdown grabs for the Beavers.
Broome led the Beavers with nine tackles and he also had 0.5 sacks and 0.5 tackles for loss. He has put together an outstanding senior season as he leads the Beavers with 93 tackles and ranks third in the NSIC averaging 10.3 tackles per contest. In addition to a career high in tackles, Broome also has already posted a career-high 8.5 tackles for loss this season.
Minot State's offensive line paved the way for one of the top offensive performances of the season. The Beavers notched 21 first downs, rushed for 167 yards and finished with 338 yards of total offense. Minot State had three touchdown drives that were in excess of 10 plays and covered at least 65 yards.
Minnesota State Moorhead has reeled off back-to-back wins against Minnesota Crookston (51-19) and Mary (49-7) and brings a 4-5 overall record into the game.
The game will be broadcast live on the Midco Sports Network with David Brown and Greg Enkers calling the action. Scott Kittell will also provide radio commentary on KCJB 910 am.
Snow accumulation is expected early on Saturday as well as throughout the game.
