Biography

2016: Started two games before suffering a season-ending injury... Completed 27 passes on 46 attempts for 319 yards and two touchdowns... Rushed for nine yards... Did not throw an interception... Earned Myles Brand All-Academic distinction and NSIC All-Academic honors.

2015: Completed two passes on two attempts for 38 yards before suffering a season-ending injury in first game of the season... Received medical redshirt. 

2014: Played in nine games for the Beavers in his third year... Passed for 1,866 and 14 touchdowns on 53 percent passing... Broke 300 yards passing on two separate occasions... Threw season-high four touchdowns against Minnesota Crookston (10/25)... Named team captain... Earned NSIC All-Academic honors. 

2013: Started in all 11 games for Minot State as a sophomore... Passed for 2,352 yards and 13 touchdowns on 53 percent passing... Threw for 355 yards against MSU-Moorhead (11/2) and also recorded two touchdowns.

2012: Appeared in all 11 games at quarterback for Minot State as a true freshman... Threw for 1,982 yards (51% completions percentage) and 14 touchdowns on the season... Rushed for one touchdown against MSU-Moorhead (10/27)... Passed for a season-high 320 yards against Upper Iowa (9/20).

High School: Participated in football, basketball, and baseball at Roseville High School... Received all conference and all metro honors during his senior season... Was given the National Football Foundation Scholar Award.

Personal: Son of Penny and Larry Cunha... Slam Dunk/Don't Drive Drunk Chair of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)... Currently undecided on major.
