MINOT, N.D. -- Riding a three-game winning streak, the Minot State men's basketball team will face Montana State Billings in a non-conference game on Saturday (Nov. 17) at 8 p.m. in Alterowitz Gymnasium.
After dropping its season opener to Southwest Baptist, Minot State has reeled off three straight win including a pair of home victories over Yellowstone Christian and Dickinson State.
Minot State dispatched of Yellowstone Christian 85-58 behind 13 points each from
Kyle Beisch and
Dorian Aluyi. In the Beavers 69-46 win against Dickinson State, Beisch poured in 21 points to lead the way.
Senior
David Akibo is the Beavers leading scorer through four games as he is averaging 15.5 points per game, while also topping the team averaging 8.3 rebounds per contest.
Beisch and
Max Cody are second on the team averaging 13.0 points per contest, while Aluyi is averaging 9.3 points per game.
Aluyi is second on the team grabbing 5.0 rebounds per game and
Eduardo Gomez del Casal is fourth on the team with a 4.5 rebounds per game average.
Minot State has topped 50 percent shooting from the floor in each of the last three games and is shooting 50.4 percent on the season.
Montana State Billings is 1-2 on the season, which includes a 56-53 victory over Mary on Wednesday.
