Minot State Drops Road Game to Minnesota Duluth

Box Score Duluth, M.N. – Mariah Payne and Kari Clements lead the Beavers with 24 points, but the Beavers lost to the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs tonight 51-79 in the second road Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matchup of the weekend.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Beavers started out strong in the first half and kept the score within five on the Bulldogs home turf.
  • The Bulldogs outscored the Beavers in the second half to win the game and the second matchup of the 2018-2019 season.

  • Mariah Payne was your leading Beaver with 13 points
  • Kari Clements was your second top scorer with 11 points, one rebound and three assists
  • Callie Delsman and Whitney Molina tied for rebounds on the night with five each
  • Madison Wald helped the Beavers with four points and four assists

Minot State goes on the road again next weekend to Southwest Minnesota State on Friday Jan. 18 to play the Mustangs at 5:30 P.M. and University of Sioux Falls on Saturday Jan. 19 at 4 P.M. to play the Cougars for a pair of NSIC match ups.
