Beaver Men's Basketball Looks for Fifth Straight

(MINOT, N.D.) -- The Minot State men's basketball team looks to continue its torrid start on Saturday. After starting 4-0, with a tough two-game road trip to start the season, the Beavers aim for 5-0.
 
 The Beavers will host Yellowstone Christian College on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 4:00 p.m. at the MSU Dome. 
 
 Series History 
  • The Beavers and Centurions have met twice, with the Beavers winning the matchups in both 2017 and 2018.
  • Minot State has easily taken care of Yellowstone Christian, outscoring the Centurions 181-126.
 
 Beaver Tracks 
  • The Beavers have started the season 4-0 after defeating Montana State Billings 83-74 in their last outing.
  • In that contest, the Beavers were led by Kyle Beisch, Stephane Manzi, and Max Cody, scoring 21, 19, and 14.
  • Beisch had a double-double as he added ten rebounds. 
  • On the year, the Beavers are led in scoring by Beisch, who averages 19 per game. 
  • Max Cody leads the team in assists, averaging over five per game on top of averaging 15.3 points per game. 
  • The Beavers are led in rebounding by three players who average over five a game (Beisch, Kody Dwyer, Trevor Rothstein).
  • Beisch and Cody lead the team with 1.3 steals/game with Duane Goodman, also averaging one steal per game.
  • The Beavers have three players lighting it up from behind the arc with Manzi, Cody, and Aleksa Cucovic shooting 54.5, 47.1, and 45.4 percent.
