(MINOT, N.D.) – The Minot State Beaver wrestling team will look to snap their two-dual losing streak this Friday evening when they host the Northern State Wolves.

This weekend's dual is the final home contest for the Beavers and will feature a brief ceremony prior to the first match recognizing three seniors: Dean Arevalo, Zach Berry, and Parker Osterman.

Northern State is currently sixth in the NSIC with a 1-4 record in league duals and a 7-6 mark overall.

Minot State has yet to win an NSIC dual this season and are 4-5 overall.

Each team boasts a handful of nationally-ranked grapplers. For the Wolves, Caden Moore is 10th at 149 pounds, James Burks is fifth at 157 pounds, and Marcus Placide is 11^th at 184 pounds. For the Beavers, Dean Arevalo is currently sixth at 125 pounds while heavyweight Jordan Will is eighth.

Northern State and Minot State were tied at 23^rd in the most recent publication of the NCAA Division II Team rankings. The dual will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31.
