The Minot State Men's Wrestling team returns to action this weekend in Marshall, Minnesota, as the Beavers compete at the Super Region V event hosted by Southwest Minnesota State.  With national qualification on the line, the stakes are high, as the top three finishers in each weight class will earn berths to the national tournament.  

At 125 pounds, Austin Garcia enters with a 1-9 record, aiming to turn the corner in a deep regional field.  Cole Faircloth (133) leads the group with a 17-11 mark.  Ethan Wonser (141) sits at 7-7, while Brayden Guerrero (149) looks to improve on his 2-10 record.  Roman Leifridt (157) enters at 4-11 and John Armstrong (165) brings a 10-13 record into competition.  

In the upper weights, Gavin Turk (174) stands out with a 16-10 record.  Payton Wayman (184) sits at 10-10, Shafer Ehmke (197) enters at 14-11, and Braxton Rance (285) rounds out the lineup at 7-10.  With qualification within reach, the Beavers will look for key performances across the board to secure critical wins and keep their national hopes alive.
