Faircloth and Turk lead Beavers in hard fought loss against Sioux Falls

The Minot State Men's Wrestling team fell 31-14 to Sioux Falls in a competitive match up on Senior Night.  The Beavers had strong individual performances despite the overall team loss.  Cole Faircloth picked up his second win of the weekend with a 12-6 decision over Bray Skinner at 133 pounds, while Gavin Turk dominated at 174 pounds with a 17-1 technical fall against Ashtin Johnson.  At 197 pounds, Shafer Ehmke also contributed a victory for Minot State.  

The team honored seniors Mario Esposito, Dylan McDonald, Payton Wayman, and Ethan Wonser, celebrating their dedication and contributions to the program.  Other matches saw tough battles for the Beavers, with Dylan McDonald (125 lbs), Ethan Wonser (141 lbs), Guerrero Brayden (149 lbs), Roman Leifridt (157 lbs), Daniels Bendiks (165 lbs), Payton Wayman (184 lbs), and Braxton Rance (285 lbs) all falling to Sioux Falls opponents.
