The Minot State men's basketball team returns to action Monday, Nov. 29 with a 7:30 p.m. tip off against the Valley City State University Vikings in the MSU Dome.

The Minot State Beavers enter the game coming off of a 78-74 loss against the University of Mary Marauders to begin NSIC play. Monday marks the second meeting this season between Minot State and Valley City State. On Tuesday, Oct. 26 the Beavers defeated Valley City State 98-93 in an exhibition game to begin preseason play.

Cam'ron Dunfee led all Beavers in scoring with 18 points in Tuesday's loss to the Marauders.
Max Cody added 12 points and five assists in the contest while Freshman guard
Jaxon Gunville chipped in 13 points, shooting an impressive 60% from behind the three-point line.
Scouting the Vikings
The Valley City State University Vikings enter the game with a record of 7-4. Winless thus far on the road, the Vikings are no strangers to close games with two of their victories coming by only two points. The duo of Jalen Addison and Kevin Schramm lead the Valley City State scoring attack, both averaging just shy of 13 points per game.

Following Monday's contest, Minot State returns to play Thursday, Dec. 2 at 5:30 p.m. against NSIC foe Northern State University in the MSU Dome.
