MINOT, ND – The Minot State women's basketball team returns to action in Minnesota Friday, Dec. 10 with a 7:30 p.m. conference game against the University of Minnesota Duluth. The Beavers then travel to face the Huskies of St. Cloud State University Saturday, Dec. 11 at 5:30 p.m. at Halenbeck Hall.

Last Time Out
The Beavers are coming off a loss to Minnesota State-Moorhead on the road. The Dragons defeated Minot State 67-43 Saturday afternoon.

Leading the Way
Amber Stevahn led Minot State with 14 points and three steals. Anna Counts tacked on 11 points. Stevahn and Counts added five rebounds each in the Beaver's loss over the weekend.

Scouting the Bulldogs
Minnesota Duluth enters the week with a 4-3 (2-1) record. The Bulldogs are 2-0 in their last two games, with a 61-59 victory over Bemidji State University and a 78-46 win against University of Minnesota Crookston. Brooke Olson led the Bulldogs over the last two games, averaging 19 points per game. Olson leads the Bulldogs averaging 20.9 points per game this season.

Scouting the Huskies
St. Cloud State enters the week with a 5-1 (3-0) record. The Huskies are 2-0 in their last two games, with a 60-41 win against University of Minnesota Crookston and a 69-51 victory over Bemidji State University. Nikki Kilboten led the Huskies in the last two games, averaging 8 rebounds per game. Tori Wortz averaged 12 points per game in the last two games and has an 11.2 average on the season.

Minot State returns home to face the University of Minnesota Crookston Friday, Dec. 17 with a 7:30 p.m. tip-off. The Beavers then take on Bemidji State University Saturday, Dec. 18, at 5:30 p.m. at the MSU Dome.
