MINOT, N.D. – The Beavers put on a good show one week into preparation for the upcoming season.
The Minot State men's basketball team shot a blister 57 percent from the field and dominated on the boards too, rolling to an 83-52 win over Dickinson State in exhibition play Saturday afternoon.
Cam'ron Dunfee led the way for the Beavers with 13 points while
Khari Broadway and
Jaxon Gunville each added 12 points in the game, which was the Doug Jaeger Memorial game.
Gunville also dished out four assists, while
Calvin Sisk added seven points and eight rebounds for Minot State.
The Beavers came out hot, shooting 17-of-28 from the field (60.7 percent) in the first half to forge 43-18 advantage at halftime, then cruised to the win.
Minot State finished shooting 57.9 percent for the game hitting 33-of-57 shots from the field.
Minot State opens its season on the road, Nov. 11 and 12, playing in the Central Missouri Tournament against host Central Missouri and East Central.
