Minot, N.D. – Minot State Men's and Women's set for a pair of non-conference games at home before the start of the new year. Women's Basketball will switch to being the first game of the double headers starting Saturday, December 30th. The Women beavers will start off the afternoon with South Dakota Mines at 1:00 PM. The Men Beavers will follow right after taking on University of Minnesota Crookston for a non-conference game at 3:00 PM.
Minot State Women's Basketball last competed against the Mines in the 2022-23 season, in which resulted in the Beavers coming away with a 62-58 win over the Mines. Five returning beavers combined for 36 in the win.
Minot State Men's Basketball dominated the glass in a conference win over University of Minnesota Crookston back in November. The Beavers secured 19 offensive rebounds and out rebounded the Golden Eagles 44-28 in a 79-67 victory in Crookston, MN.

Minot State Women's Basketball fell short to Minnesota State Moorhead last time out. The Lady Beavers now sit (1-5) in conference play and (3-11) overall. Minot State Men's Basketball suffered a heartbreaking loss vs. number two Minnesota State Moorhead. In a back and fourth game, the visiting Dragons came out on top 77-74, giving the Beavers their first loss at Home.
