MINOT, N.D. – Minot State Men's Basketball are ready to end out the month of December with five straight home games, starting off with non-conference opponent Valley City State University. The Beavers are coming off a (1-1) NSIC weekend over in Minnesota. The Beavers will end non-conference play for the rest of the semester hosting Valley City State University, Wednesday at 6 PM in the MSU Dome.
Minot State has not played Valley City State since the 2021-22 basketball season. The Beavers came out on top with an 86-74 victory over the Vikings. Minot State returns two players from the game,
Ben Bohl and
Jaxon Gunville. Having experience with Valley City State, Bohl and Gunville looks to lead the Beavers too victory.
Recent Games
Previously, the Minot State Beavers matched up with the Bemidji State Beavers, where they fell in an extremely physical and gritty game at Bemidji, (77-88). The Beavers bounced back from a tough loss against Bemidji by walking into opponent territory and grabbing a win vs. St. Cloud State University. Shooting nearly 50% from the field (48.48%) and 50% from the 3pt line, the Beavers secured an 85-70 victory over the Huskies.
