J, S.D.- Fresh off of a win at the Division II CCA Tip-Off Tournament hosted by Montana State Billings, the Beavers will head to Spearfish, South Dakota on Friday to face the Yellow Jackets of Black Hills State University.

The Beavers claimed their first win under new head coach,
Ryan Clark, Sunday against Texas A&M International University, beating the Dust Devils 72-55.

After their opening weekend in Montana, the Beavers are 1-2 overall.

Being named to the all-tournament team at the Division II CCA Tip-Off Tournament was the Beavers very own,
Emma Mogen, who added 9 points and 6 rebounds to Sunday's win.

Led by new head coach, Rachel Erickson, the Yellow Jackets currently are 1-1 on the season. The Yellow Jackets were ranked 9
th in the Preseason Coaches' Poll in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC). In the 2023-2024 season, the Yellow Jackets finished 17-10 overall.

The Beavers are due for another win to even out the recent series against the Yellow Jackets. In the 2021-2022 season, the Beavers went 1-1 against the Yellow Jackets. In 2022-2023, the Yellow Jackets claimed the win.

The Beavers will hit the hardwood to take on the Yellow Jackets in Spearfish, South Dakota on Friday at 7 pm (Minot time) as they look to claim their 2
