Minot, N.D- The Beavers will host for the first time in two weeks on Friday and Saturday. To start the weekend, the Beavers will take on the Concordia University, St. Paul Golden Bears on Friday. On Saturday, the Beavers will hit the hardwood to face the University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs.
The Beavers currently are 4-8 in conference after their recent win against Augustana University. Overall, the Beavers are averaging 61.9 points per game, 32.1 rebounds per game, 17.2 turnovers per game, and have a .395 field goal percentage. The Beavers are currently led in field goals by
Maya Aguilar with 75, 3-pointers by
Maya Aguilar with 41, and rebounds by
Emma Mogen with 89.
The last time the Beavers faced the Golden Bears, the Beavers fell short in the 41-55-point game. During the game, Minot State's defense held the Golden Bears to only 34.5 percent shooting from the field. The Beavers also collected 12 offensive boards in the game.

In the Beavers last face-off against the Bulldogs, the Beavers defeated the Bulldogs 66-54. Highlights from the game included the Beavers bench coming alive and scoring 20 points to its scoring output. The Beavers defense also forced 13 turnovers.
Lorelei McIver led the Beavers with 21 points and secured a game-high 8 rebounds.

Minot State will hit the hardwood to take on Concordia University, St. Paul on Friday at 7:30. On Saturday, Minot State will compete against University Minnesota Duluth at 5:30. In the upcoming week, Minot State will take on the University of Minnesota Crookston on Wednesday and Northern State University on Saturday.
