MINOT, N.D. – After opening the preseason on the road, the Minot State women's basketball team returns home this week to play back-to-back non-conference games at the Minot State Dome. The Beavers will host Montana State University-Billings on Tuesday night before welcoming Bismarck State College on Wednesday.
The Beavers (0-4) enter the week looking to build on their early-season progress after a competitive stretch. Taryn Hamling and Maya Aguilar continue to pace the Beavers' offense after leading the team in scoring throughout the preseason, while Jessica Mogen leads the team in steals.
Tuesday's opponent, Montana State University-Billings, enters the matchup with a 2-3 record after earning wins over Colorado State University Pueblo and Colorado School of Mines. The Yellowjackets are led by Kyla Momberg, who averages 10.6 points per game.
On Wednesday, the Beavers will face Bismarck State College. The Mystics currently sit at 0-1 in preseason play but will face the University of Jamestown on Tuesday night before facing Minot State. The Mystics are led offensively by previous Beaver, Kennedy Stormer, who is averaging 17 points per game.
Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 pm on Tuesday against MSU-Billings and 5:30 pm Wednesday against Bismarck State College at the Minot State Dome
