JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Minot State's

Winning all four of his matches in the 174-pound weight class, Turk won the title at the Jimmie Open men's wrestling tournament, leading the way for the Beavers who saw eight individuals place on the day.
"This first tournament was a good measuring stick to see where we are and what we need to work on moving forward," Minot State's coach
Evan Forde said.
"We had some great wins, and some matches we'd like to have back," Forde added. "We had a champion, and a number of guys got their first college victory; that's always fun.
"I feel pretty good about where we are at this point in the season."
