The Minot State women's soccer team heads into its final regular-season matchup with strong momentum after a dominant week on the field. On October 31, the team shut out Minnesota Crookston 2-0 with goals from Sierra Haren and Sabrina Amezcua. They carried that energy into November 2, defeating Minnesota State Moorhead 4-1 behind a pair of goals from Anna Miotto, along with tallies from Amezcua and Iliana Rivera.
The squad now turns its focus to a crucial home game against the University of Mary on Wednesday, November 6 at 2 p.m. A win would secure the opportunity to host the first round of the NSIC playoff tournament on Monday, November 10 at 5 p.m.
With the postseason within reach, the team will look to continue its offensive rhythm and strong defensive form to lock in home-field advantage.
