Minot, N.D. – The Beavers are gearing up for their last home clash before the NSIC tournament begins. This week, the Beavers will be taking on the Augustana University Vikings on Thursday and the Wayne State College Wildcats on Saturday to finish up conference play. The four seniors of Minot State,
Emma Mogen,
Katie Aberle,
Cassidy King, and
Sydney Gustavsson will be honored on Saturday for their senior night before competition begins.
The Beavers are currently 7-13 in conference play. On the season, they're averaging 62.3 points, 33.3 rebounds, 6.1 steals, and 16.3 turnovers per game, with a field goal percentage of .390.
Emma Mogen leads the team with 110 field goals and 145 rebounds, while
Maya Aguilar is the top shooter from beyond the arc with 54 three-pointers.
In the Beavers last face-off against the Vikings earlier in the season, the Beavers came out on top in the 69-55-point game. Highlights from the game included the Beavers' defence forcing 23 turnovers,
Sydney Gustavsson leading the Beavers with a game-high 18 points, and
Maya Aguilar securing a team-high 6 rebounds.
The Vikings are currently 4-17 in conference play. Hannah Burg leads the team with 134 field goals and 30 three-pointers. Payton Hardy tops the squad in rebounds with 148, while Olivia Hayenga is the team's leader in steals, totaling 51.
In the Beavers previous matchup against the Wildcats this season, the Beavers came up short, falling 45-63.

Jessica Mogen combined to account for 76 percent of the Beavers' total points. Minot State's defense forced 13 turnovers, while Aguilar led the Beavers with 13 points, and
Emma Mogen grabbed a game-high 9 rebounds.
The Wildcats are 8-13 in conference play. Maya Fitzpatrick leads the team with 115 field goals and 47 steals, while Delaney Clark is the top shooter from beyond the arc with 49 three-pointers. Kylah vanDonkersgoed leads the squad in rebounds, pulling down 127.
Minot State will hit the hardwood to take on Augustana University at 7:30 on Thursday night. On Saturday,
