The Minot State Men's Wrestling team travels for a pair of NSIC road duals this weekend, opening with Northern State on Friday at 7 p.m. before facing MSU Moorhead on Saturday at 5 p.m.

Friday's match up with Northern State presents a challenging test, as the Wolves are expected to start Sloan Johannsen at 125, Clay Gates at 133, Krayle Stormer at 141, and nationally ranked Rudy Lopez at 149, who enters the weekend ranked No. 14 in the nation. Northern State's projected lineup also includes Griffin Lundeen at 157, Izaak Hunsley at 165, Mason Fey or Damen Pape at 174, nationally ranked Brady Westall at 184, ranked No. 11 in the nation, Ryan Hirschkorn at 197, and a heavyweight rotation of Ayden Viox, Nathan Schauer, or Tyson Lien.
Saturday's dual at MSU Moorhead closes the weekend and offers another opportunity for the Beavers to compete against a deep NSIC opponent as they continue to build momentum and gain valuable conference experience away from home.
