MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State men's basketball team will enjoy an exciting start to the 2026-27 season, and fans are invited to tag along.
The Beavers are headed to Hawaii as 1-of-8 men's teams invited to be part of the 2026 Hoops in Hawaii Tip-Off Classic hosted by Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii, October 30 through November 1.
"We are super excited to be a part of the 2026 Division II Hawaii Tip-Off Classic," Minot State head coach
Randall Herbst said. "The competition will be elite and it will be a great challenge.
"The opportunity and unique experience for our players and fans will be special," Herbst added of the tournament, where the Beavers will play three games. "Lifelong memories will be created. Can't wait for a little hoops during Halloween in Hawaii!! Roll Beavs!!"
The Beavers join NSIC foe Winona State, along with host Chaminade, Hawaii Pacific, Adelphi (N.Y.), Lake Erie College (Ohio), Saint Edwards (Texas), and the University of Tampa (Fla.) in the tournament field.
Along with the unique experience for the Minot State men's basketball team, the Tip-Off Classic is inviting Beaver fans to be part of the fun and cheer on Minot State in Hawaii.
Boosters can get the same benefits as the team: The same flight as the team, the same hotel as the team with the same great rate, while having their trip tailored to each fan's desires.
