MINOT, N.D. – Minot State's student-athletes wrapped up an outstanding year of overall excellence as the Beavers matched a single-season high for NSIC All-Academic Team honors.
The league honored student-athletes competing in NSIC-sponsored spring sports on Thursday, and a total of 49 Beaver student-athletes – competing in baseball, softball, men's and women's golf, and men's and women's outdoor track and field – were named to the NSIC's Spring All-Academic Team or All-Academic Team of Excellence.
To be named to the NSIC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be an active member of their respective team, in at least their second season of competition with their respective Beaver team, and maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA. To earn NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.60 cumulative GPA.
Today's announcement by the NSIC brings Minot State's total of NSIC All-Academic Team student-athletes to 124 for the 2025-26 academic year, matching the single-season high set by the Beaver student-athletes during the 2023-24 academic year.
Leading the way for the Beavers in academic honors this spring was the Minot State baseball team with 19 student-athletes named to the NSIC All-Academic Team, including 10 who earned NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors.
The Minot State softball team was next as 13 players earning NSIC All-Academic Team honors, with 9 being named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.
The Minot State outdoor track and field team also saw 13 total student-athletes named to the NSIC All-Academic Team, with 7 women's track and field athletes named to the NSIC All-Academic Team, and 6 men's track and field athletes earning NSIC All-Academic Team honors. Five student-athletes from each of the men's and women's teams were named to NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.
And from the Minot State golf teams, 4 student-athletes were named to the NSIC All-Academic Team, with 2 from the men's team and 2 from the women's team each being named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team honors from the softball team were: Taylor Eatherton, a junior from Laveen, Arizona; Anna Lacount, a senior from Kaukauna, Wisconsin; Haleigh Lematta, a senior from Fessenden, North Dakota; and Taylor Smith, a senior from Elko, Minnesota.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors from the women's outdoor track and field team were: Natalie Becker, a sophomore from Minot, North Dakota; Julie Folk, a sophomore from Minot, North Dakota; Summer Krebsbach, a senior from Max, North Dakota; Nicole Reeves, a senior from Anaheim, California; and Emery Smith, a senior from North Salt Lake, Utah.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team honors from the women's outdoor track and field team were: Afton Wride, a sophomore from Kalispell, Montana; and Bailey Wride, a junior from Kalispell, Montana.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors from the men's outdoor track and field team were: Holter Bridwell, a junior from Bismarck, North Dakota; Zander Grover, a sophomore from Burlington, North Dakota; Camden Jasmin, a senior from Williston, North Dakota; Nikita Neyshtadt, a senior from Richmond Hill, Ontario; and Isaac Rathbun, a sophomore from Minot, North Dakota.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team honors from the men's outdoor track and field team was: Peyton Tuhy, a senior from Hettinger, North Dakota.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors from the women's golf team were: Zoe Banack, a senior from Yellowhead County, Alberta; and Abigail Goettle, a senior from Dickinson, North Dakota.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors from men's golf team were: Max Karnik, a graduate student from Fargo, North Dakota; and Gage Olson, a senior from Max, North Dakota.
