NOTING THE MARAUDERS: After back-to-back 19 win seasons, the University of Mary women's basketball team will look to get over the hump and record their first 20+ win season since the 2005-2006 campaign. U-Mary has faced several NCAA Division I teams this pre-season as well as some highly ranked NAIA teams. The Marauders fell to University of Utah and Idaho Sate both in preseason exhibition games while also falling to Westminster College and Vanguard University. Both Westminster and Vanguard were ranked in the top five at the NAIA level. Linda Murray has emerged as the leader of the team that has four players averaging double-digit points per game. Klose, who assisted on the Elwin triple, pushed the Beavers lead back to double figures a little over a minute later.
