Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 WILLISTON, N.D. – The Minot State University baseball team kept Bemidji State's offense in check during the first game Monday afternoon.

In game two, however, BSU (20-16 overall 11-9 NSIC) erupted for 26 hits completing the four-game game series sweep over Minot State (10-22 overall 2-16 NSIC) with two wins, 4-3 & 21-1 at Williston State College Baseball Field.

Cole Stober (Sr., P, Hays, Alberta) tossed six innings, five of which were scoreless, in game one. He struck out five BSU hitters while giving up six hits and four walks. It was the fourth inning that was the blemish for Stober, as he gave up a three-run home run to Jaryd Marks, as they took the lead and kept it for the win.

Offensively MISU outhit Bemidji State, collected seven hits. Two of those hits were doubles that came off the bat of catcher Connor Moughtin (Jr., Victoria, British Columbia). Moughtin was the only Minot State hitter to collect multiple hits in game one.

In game two, six BSU hitters had three hits or more as they cruised to their eighth straight win. Logan Kalis led Bemidji State with four hits, three runs scored and a whopping seven RBI.

Minot State was led by Mike Turcotte (Sr., CF, Victoria, British Columbia) with two hits. Pitcher Doug Rolfson (Fr., Watford City, N.D.) did a solid job out of the bullpen, striking out five batters in just two innings.

Minot State will look to snap their 10 game losing streak on May 1 as they face Minnesota Crookston (1-36 overall 1-22 NSIC) for a doubleheader in Crookston, Minn.
