Box Score 2 SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Minot State University baseball team fell 14-6 and 16-1 in two games on Sunday afternoon. Overall the Beavers were outhit by the Vikings 32-16.
MSU got off to a good start in game one with a three-run homer in the first inning from
Celestino Rodriguez (1B, Fr., Crystal Lake, Ill.) who had a single shot homerun in the third inning as well. Rodriguez added another hit to in two more plate appearances to swing for a 0.750 average in the first game of the day.
Kyle Williamson (OF, So., Aurora, Ore.) and
Jarrod Adams (C, Jr., Yerington, Nev.) also had a multiple hit game in the first game. Williamson recorded two hits, including a two-run homerun.
In game two the lone run scored for the Beavers was from another homerun, this time from
Taylor Williamson (3B, Jr., Creswell, Ore.) who added another hit in the game to go two-for-three.
Minot State will play again April 6 at North Dakota State University at 5 p.m.
