MINOT, N.D. -- Due to unplayable weather conditions in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the Minot State University baseball series against the University of Sioux Falls has been moved to Corbett Field on Saturday (3/20) and Sunday (3/21).
The Beavers and Cougars will play a three-game series starting with a doubleheader at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 20, and concluding with one game at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Mar. 21. Attendance is free and open to fans.
The Beavers open conference play against the Cougars inside their own ballpark as the designated visiting team.
MSU enters the weekend with a 2-3 overall record and on the heels of an important 5-3 win over the University of Central Oklahoma on Feb. 27 in Edmond, Okla. The Beavers have not played a regular-season game in almost a month but look to open conference play strong this weekend.
USF has begun the season with a 4-0 overall record with four straight wins over Truman State including an emphatic 16-4 victory on Mar. 13. It also marks the first conference series for the Cougars.
