MINOT, N.D. - The Minot State and Minnesota Crookston baseball teams announced that their scheduled doubleheader for Thursday has been canceled because of unplayable field conditions.

The games were originally scheduled for today at Corbett Field in Minot, N.D., but recent snowstorms left Corbett unusable this week and the games were moved to Crookston, Minn., and pushed to Thursday. However, recent snow and rain have left Minnesota Crookston's field unusable, as well.

With the cancellation, the Beavers get two extra days off this week before returning to the diamond for a weekend series at Minnesota Duluth on Saturday and Sunday. Minot State plays a doubleheader starting at 1:30 p.m. against the Bulldogs, then the two teams meet again for a single game Sunday at noon.
